What is Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training and what you'll receive?
In Ashwini's Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training program, you'll receive more than just instruction on prenatal asanas; you'll embark on a profound journey into the world of prenatal wellness and empowerment. Meet Your Instructor
Ashwini, a seasoned yoga instructor with a diverse and inspiring existantial reality. Rooted in her childhood in India, her journey into yoga intertwines with her tripod experiences as a yoga teacher, Electronics Engineer and a realist painter. After finishing her 500-hour Kundalini yoga teacher training in Hrishikesh, India, and an additional 500 hours of Hatha yoga teacher training in Mysoor, India, she presents a wealth of knowledge and skill. By merging the Himalayan Kundalini tradition from the north of India with the Hatha and Ashtanga practices of the south, she offers a comprehensive and integrated approach to yoga offering a unique perspective uniting creativity, logic, and spirituality.
At the core of Ashwini's teaching philosophy is her commitment to excellence and inclusivity. As the lead instructor of the 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training program at the University of Washington REC, she has honed her skills in adhering to Yoga Alliance curriculum guidelines while making the learning process engaging and enjoyable for all.
With roots in the yogic and Vedantic tradition, Ashwini has undergone over 3000 hours of training as a yoga teacher. She adeptly combines principles from diverse yoga traditions with insights from modern science to promote holistic well-being nurturing the mind, body, breath, and mindfulness.

Program Structure
If you can't make every Zoom session, I offer session recordings for your convenience. However, you are strongly encouraged to join live sessions for an enriching the experience for everyone and to maintain the integrity of your commitment to this training. Please note, this training may not be suitable if you can't attend any live sessions. Your well-being matters, so feel free to reach out for support.
Each session provides a well-rounded online experience, carefully designed to maximize your learning and participation. The 30-minute yoga practice with Ashwini helps you center yourself and allows you to embody the wisdom shared during the session. The subsequent 30-minute asana lab offers a practical exploration of safe prenatal postures, ensuring you feel confident in your practice. Finally, the 30-minute discussion and Q&A session allow for deeper understanding and clarification of the topics covered, fostering a supportive learning environment where questions are encouraged and insights are shared. This structured approach ensures that you not only receive comprehensive instruction but also have the opportunity to apply and integrate your newfound knowledge effectively.
